Speed up audio without changing pitch
Speed up audio while keeping its original pitch
This tool makes a recording play faster and finish sooner. It starts at 120% speed with the original pitch preserved, which is useful for a quicker music edit, a faster practice track or spoken audio that needs a brisker pace.
Adjust speed between 50% and 150% to set the tempo. Keep original pitch to avoid automatically raising voices, or choose linked or custom pitch for a more stylized result.

How to use this effect
- Choose a recording or try the demo.
- Adjust the settings. The effect updates automatically; compare the result with the original.
- Choose an output format and download your audio.
Pitch-preserving time stretching keeps voices near their original register. Very sharp transients or dense mixes can sound different after stretching. Preview the processed result before exporting.
Privacy and sound quality
Your recording stays on your device. Effects run locally in WebAssembly. Effects regenerate automatically after settings change. The preview and download share the same processed audio. The soft limiter protects against digital clipping.
Time stretching can introduce artifacts, especially at extreme settings. Processing long recordings needs more memory; start with a short clip on mobile.

Does the preview preserve pitch too?
Yes. After automatic processing finishes, both preview and download use the same time-stretched audio. The default pitch mode keeps the original pitch rather than making voices higher as playback speeds up.
How much can I speed up a song?
The speed control supports up to 150% of the original tempo. At 120%, a 60-second track becomes about 50 seconds without reverb. Listen for changes to transients or dense mixes before exporting.
