Audio editing
Mix audio tracks together online
Layer recordings on one timeline
Combine a voice recording with background music, layer sound effects or mix several instruments. Tracks play together on one timeline. Choose a source segment for each track, adjust its volume and place it on the timeline, then preview and download the mix.

How to use this tool
Add at least two recordings. Start and End select the part of each original recording used in the mix. Timeline position sets when that selected part begins playing. Drag the waveform boundary markers or enter exact times. Adjust volume, mute or remove a track to compare the balance. Prevent clipping reduces the whole mix only when its peak would exceed the digital limit.
Local processing and sound quality
Recordings stay on your device. A local WebAssembly engine processes the audio, and preview and download use the same result. Files are decoded in browser memory; the amount you can edit depends on your device. WAV avoids an extra lossy encoding step. MP3 and AAC use lossy compression. These tools and all exports are free.
Frequently asked questions
Does this join recordings end to end?
This tool overlays recordings on a shared timeline. It mixes overlapping sound rather than automatically joining files one after another. Each track has its own source selection, timeline position and volume.
What happens when the recordings have different lengths?
The output continues until the last selected segment ends, including its timeline position. Shorter segments contribute silence after they finish. Recordings are decoded to a common sample rate before mixing.
