Free slowed reverb generator

Combine a slower tempo with an echoing space

Use this slowed reverb generator to give an existing track a slower tempo and a longer, more spacious tail. It starts at 80% speed with linked pitch and 50% reverb. Adjust the settings for atmospheric music edits, ambient loops or a deeper vocal sound.

Control speed and reverb separately to find the balance you want. Linked pitch lowers notes as the track slows down; preserve pitch to keep their original register, or choose a custom shift. Use the reverb controls to set the space, length and brightness of the tail.

Adjust speed and reverb to suit the recording. Linked pitch gives a deeper voice as the track slows down.

Privacy and sound quality

Your recording stays on your device. Effects run locally in WebAssembly. Effects regenerate automatically after settings change. The preview and download share the same processed audio. The soft limiter protects against digital clipping.

Time stretching can introduce artifacts, especially at extreme settings. Processing long recordings needs more memory; start with a short clip on mobile. Reverb adds a tail to the output.

Frequently asked questions

Can I adjust speed and reverb independently?

Yes. Speed controls duration, while reverb amount, space, decay and tone control the ambience. You can turn reverb off, keep the original pitch or choose a custom pitch shift.

Why is the processed recording longer?

Slowing playback increases the duration, and reverb adds a tail after the track. For example, 80% speed makes the dry audio 1.25 times as long before the selected reverb tail is added.
