Shape bass, vocals and treble
This online audio equalizer lets you shape bass, vocals and treble in music or spoken recordings. Reduce a boomy low end, bring a voice forward or soften sharp high frequencies. EQ changes the balance of the whole mix; it does not separate instruments.
Choose the 8-band layout for detailed control, or start with the 1081, 1073, 550b or EQP-1A style. Select a vocal, bass, air or cleanup preset, then refine the frequency, gain and bandwidth of each band. The response graph updates with your settings, and its numbered points can be dragged directly.

How to use this effect
- Choose a recording or try the demo.
- Adjust the settings. The effect updates automatically; compare the result with the original.
- Choose an output format and download your audio.
Use a low shelf for bass, a high shelf for brightness, or a peak filter for a focused frequency range. A higher Q narrows the peak. The graph and sliders change the same filters.
Privacy and sound quality
Your recording stays on your device. Effects run locally in WebAssembly. Effects regenerate automatically after settings change. The preview and download share the same processed audio. The soft limiter protects against digital clipping.
Time stretching can introduce artifacts, especially at extreme settings. Processing long recordings needs more memory; start with a short clip on mobile.

What can I adjust with the audio equalizer?
Each band has frequency, gain, bandwidth and filter-type controls. Use shelves for broad bass or treble changes and peak filters for a specific range. Start with small changes and keep output gain low enough for a clear result.
Do the classic EQ styles emulate analog hardware?
The 1081, 1073, 550b and EQP-1A styles provide different digital filter layouts and starting frequencies. They are tone-shaping presets, not circuit-level hardware emulations.
