Add reverb to audio online

Give a recording a sense of space

Add reverb to make a dry vocal, instrument or sound effect feel as though it was recorded in a room or a larger space. A small amount can connect the sound to its surroundings; a longer tail can create an atmospheric music edit.

Choose room, hall, plate or cathedral, then adjust reverb amount, decay and tone. Amount sets how much reverberation you hear alongside the original sound. Decay changes how long the tail lasts, while tone changes its brightness.

How to use this effect

  1. Choose a recording or try the demo.
  2. Adjust the settings. The effect updates automatically; compare the result with the original.
  3. Choose an output format and download your audio.

Amount controls the reverb added to your original signal. Decay sets the tail length and tone softens the reflections. The download includes the tail so it does not end abruptly.

Privacy and sound quality

Your recording stays on your device. Effects run locally in WebAssembly. Effects regenerate automatically after settings change. The preview and download share the same processed audio. The soft limiter protects against digital clipping.

Time stretching can introduce artifacts, especially at extreme settings. Processing long recordings needs more memory; start with a short clip on mobile. Reverb adds a tail to the output.

Frequently asked questions

Which reverb setting should I start with?

Try a room with a short decay for a subtle sense of space, or a hall for a longer tail. Plate gives a brighter character; cathedral uses a larger space. Adjust amount and tone to keep speech or music clear.

Does the download include the reverb tail?

Yes. Processing adds the selected decay time after the original recording, and the export retains that tail. Set the reverb amount to zero to keep the original duration.
